Youngstown State University
Youngstown State University (YSU) is a comprehensive urban research university founded in 1908. YSU is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. It offers more than 110 undergraduate majors through its five colleges: 1) Beeghly College of Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, and Education (BCLASSE). 2)Williamson College of Business Administration (WCBA). 3) College of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). 4) Bitonte College of Health and Human Services (BCHHS). 5) Cliffe College of Creative Arts (CCCA).
The College of Graduate Studies offers 30 Plus Master’s programs, one specialist program, doctorates in Education and Materials Science and Engineering, and the Doctor of Physical Therapy available for international students to study on campus.
The YSU Office of Housing and Residence Life offers engaging activities and fun events throughout the year that will draw students into campus life, where they can socialize, have fun, and learn something new. The dedicated, enthusiastic staff also offers support and encouragement to all its resident Penguins. YSU offers five residence halls, each of which features a unique atmosphere and clean, spacious rooms. There are also five privately managed facilities on campus and downtown, all within walking distance of campus in One University Plaza, Youngstown.
