It offers a range of options from among university-managed shared flats and houses, or if students prefer to choose to rent their accommodation privately, they have put together resources to make sure all learners are renting safely.
Non-native English speakers and those whose previous studies weren't entirely in English must meet UWL's language requirements. Students usually need a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 in listening, reading, speaking and writing. Tests have to be from an approved UKWI test centre.
Because of Covid-19, UWL accepts the following language tests from non-EU international students in 2022. They will need the relevant overall scores:
IELTS Indicator – foundation 5.5, undergraduate 6.0, postgraduate 6.5 Pearson Versant – foundation 60, undergraduate 64, postgraduate 69International students who don't meet the language requirements can take a pre-sessional English language programme. This takes place at UWL before the start of the academic course.
Students with the award will be international ambassadors. They help international students looking to study at UWL through open days, interviews and other activities.
