What's new

Kent is the only UK University to provide an accessible contact system with SignLive

The university of Kent has partnered with SignLive, a virtual British Sign Language (BSL) interpreting service. This means that students and staff at the university who are BSL users are able to communicate with other staff and students much easier.

This is done via an online service that connects users to a registered interpreter, who will relay conversations via a video call. As the only university in England to use this service, it is a great advantage to BSL users who wish to apply without being limited in their communication.

Postgraduate on-demand open day

Students can experience the university's stunning campuses and centres from wherever they are in the world. Students can watch the recording of the student Q&A from the live event on Wednesday 22 February, hear from staff and students about the courses the university offers in the UK and Europe, and explore our campuses in Canterbury and Medway and centres in Paris.
