Founded in 1967, Sheridan has grown from a local college of 400 students to one of Ontario's leading postsecondary institutions, educating approximately 22,500 full-time and 18,500 continuing and part-time studies students every year on three campuses in three Ontario cities i.e. Oakville, Brampton and Mississauga.

The institute offers more than 140 programs across five faculties, including more than 35 degree programs. It is nationally and internationally recognized for excellence in business, digital media and communications, performing arts, visual arts and design, applied computing and engineering sciences, and community service studies.

Being located across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) means Sheridan students get unlimited access to Canada’s biggest urban playground, cultural capital and business centre. Located in Brampton, Davis is the largest campus. An exciting, multicultural hub, it houses their applied health, community services, engineering and technology programs. The Hazel McCallion Campus (HMC) is home to the Pilon School of Business. Built to LEED gold standards, this campus is tucked right in the heart of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada's sixth-largest city. Located in the lakeside town of Oakville, Trafalgar Campus is home to Faculty of Animation, Arts and Design, as well as a number of programs in science and technology and health and community studies.
