Manukau Institute of Technology
Established in 1970, Manukau Institute of Technology is a leader in technical and vocational education. It is rated a Category One educational provider by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority. The institute offers entry level certificates, diplomas, degrees, graduate diplomas and ESOL English language and study preparation programmes.
Manukau Institute of Technology offers a wide range of academic programmes and is one of New Zealand’s largest, high quality institutes of technology. Every year, 14,000 students choose to study at MIT. It's support services for international students include health and counselling support, pastoral care, learning support and student mentorship. Its facilities include library, fitness centre, computer suites and chaplains.
MIT is conveniently located above the new Manukau Train Station and beside the Manukau Bus Terminal, which is now biggest transport hub in South Auckland. Overall, it’s campuses are located in Ōtara, Mahurangi, Auckland CBD along with TechPark and MIT Manukau in Manukau City Centre.
