One of the largest universities in the UK, Manchester Metropolitan University is a historic and internationally recognised institution dating back to 1824. Today, the university has around 40,000 students (HESA 2020/21) from more than 130 different countries.

  Manchester Metropolitan is known for its quality of teaching and its outstanding research – 90 percent of which is rated as world-leading or internationally excellent (REF 2014-2021).

  It is ranked 2nd in the UK for its architecture courses and 7th in the world in the QS World University Rankings 2022.

New School of Digital Arts launched in 2021

The School of Digital Arts (SODA) was a GBP 35 million investment to develop the next generation of creative talent and support the demand for skilled workers in the creative, digital and tech sectors.

  The new building has a digital innovation lab, green screens, editing suites, screening space, a media gallery, and production, sound and music studios.

The Manchester Metropolitan University Business School is triple accredited (EQUIS, AACSB, AMBA). This achievement places it among the very best business schools in the world. Undergraduate application (foundation year and undergraduate study)
