Lambton College is a globally renowned higher education provider that has been supporting Canadian and overseas students for more than 50 years. The skills and knowledge exhibited by Lambton College graduates as they enter the workforce is the best in the province. According to the latest Key Performance Indicator (KPI) report, Lambton College has achieved the highest Employer Satisfaction rate in Ontario with 100 per cent of employers surveyed reporting that they were very satisfied with the performance of their new hires.

　　Not only did Lambton College take the top spot in the Employer Satisfaction ranking, they also scored above the provincial average with an 88 per cent Graduate Employment Rate. This is further emphasized by the fact in our most recent graduate survey, 96% of Lambton graduates were satisfied with their choice of Lambton College as their study destination.

Department structure

Lambton College has developed an impressive range of undergraduate and post graduate programs for prospective students to choose from. The programs of study available to students at Lambton include, but are not limited to:

　　Students at the college will also benefit from university transfer agreements that Lambton maintains with institutions across Canada, the U.S. and Australia. As a result, students will be able to take credits which they have earned at Lambton and use them as a basis for securing a degree or diploma at another college or university.

　　

Entry requirements

Lambton College is a highly sought-after post-secondary education institution and programs are often oversubscribed. As a result of this, admissions to the college are competitive. Applicants must satisfy the minimum entry requirements of the program they are applying to, but this will not necessarily guarantee entry into their chosen program.

　　Applicants to a program at Lambton College will need to provide electronic copies of the following evidence or documentation:

　　Verified copies of their high school or other post-secondary transcripts, diplomas or degrees Evidence of English Language Proficiency – this can take the form of proof of an IELTS or TOEFL score, depending on the admission requirements of their chosen program. Submission of a CAD 150 non-refundable and non-transferable application fee. This payment can be made by VISA or MasterCard. The payment for applying will be due at the time of application submission.International students are required to pre-pay for the estimated value of their first semester of tuition at Lambton College, as this will demonstrate to a Canadian visa officer that they have the necessary funds to afford the cost of study at Lambton College.

　　

Facilities

Lambton College is ideal for students who are looking for a globally competitive education which is set amongst a warm and welcoming community, at an effective price. The college hosts three separate campuses across Canada, including Sarnia, Toronto, and Mississauga. The college's main campus is in Sarnia, Ontario and is home to a huge range of facilities and specialist academic infrastructure.

　　The Sarnia campus alone is home to a number of key buildings, including the South Building, which acts as the hub of the college community the Suncor Sustainability Centre the Lambton College Residence and Event Centre, the Skilled Trades Training Centre, Athletics & Fitness Complex, Centre of Excellence in Energy & Bio-Industrial Technologies and the Nova Chemical Health & Research Centre. The college also hosts the Teaching and Learning Commons, a well-equipped and comprehensive library facility that is available to assist students in a variety of ways around research and other learning resources.

　　Lambton in Toronto campus at Cestar College also includes special areas for student services, library, fitness and health, self-study, applied research, tutoring, special events auditorium and a Tim Horton's franchise for on campus food and beverage services.

　　Lambton in Mississauga campus at Queens College is located in two buildings with over 25,000 square feet of classrooms, labs, library and study areas.

　　

Scholarships & funding

As a global leader in education and applied research, Lambton College supports the best and brightest international applicants with hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarship funding. Each September, international students can qualify for various entrance scholarships up to $3,000 CAD depending on their method of application, program, academic profile, country of origin, or language proficiency score.

　　The condensed and efficient academic schedules offered at Lambton's campuses in Toronto and Mississauga also allow students to maximize their earning potential while studying. In some programs, students are able to complete their academic courses on campus within three days of study each week allowing greater flexibility to seek and secure meaningful part time employment while learning new skills in their academic program.
