Almost 20,000 students annually attend courses at KPU campuses in Surrey, Richmond, Langley, Cloverdale, and Civic Plaza.
Kwantlen Polytechnic University currently offers a range of credentials, many of which are completely unique, to successfully meet the evolving needs of regional and global employment markets. Students have the opportunity to bridge certificate and diploma credentials into bachelor's degrees, creating the option of academic and professional enhancement of applied and technical programs.
Life at KPU is not always about the classroom. The University encourages students to make the most of their time here as a student and finding a balance between their studies and other enjoyable, non-academic pastimes is a healthy way to keep their energy levels high. Located at the Surrey campus, the Aboriginal Gathering Place is an inviting space for all students. Recognizing the important contributions of Aboriginal Nations, the gathering place supports social and education activities associated with KPU. The Kwantlen Student Association (KSA) has over 30 student clubs. Student clubs at KPU meet regularly and host their own events.
The University provides students with its state-of-the-art facilities that includes High-tech labs, studios, classrooms, and facilities. Fitness centres and workout spaces on each campus with a variety of sport and recreational activities for all students are available including fitness classes, personal training, and intramural leagues.
Often referred to as the main campus, KPU Surrey is the largest of the 5 campuses and is easily accessible by public transit. The campus is home to an array of programs and student services including a dedicated fitness centre, gymnasium, café, student lounges and study spaces for its 9, 500 KPU Surrey students.
