For more than 60 years, Cal State East Bay has served the Bay Area as part of the California State University system, providing access to higher education for a diverse student body and advancing regional engagement through its academic programs and leadership. The university offers 49 bachelor’s degrees, 51 minors, 34 master’s degrees, 24 credentials and certificates, 1 doctoral degree.
As a student at Cal State East Bay, students will have unlimited opportunities to join in the fun, meet people, and be part of campus life. Students can choose from more than 150 academic, athletic, honor, religious, recreational, and cultural clubs and organizations, plus NCAA Division II sports. Beside this, students can also meet people from all over the world, share ideas and activities, and establish lifelong friendships and be a part of multicultural community.
Cal State East Bay's three locations are located in the heart of California's beautiful San Francisco East Bay Area. Classes at Hayward Campus, Concord Campus and Oakland Professional Development & Conference Center provide students with an exceptional opportunity to achieve their educational goals. All locations are accessible by major freeways and public transportation systems, including the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) system. Campus shuttles run to and from the Hayward and Castro Valley BART stations, as well.
