About the course
This one-year health administration post-graduate program will prepare you for the fast-paced field of health information and e-health digital transformation. Health information managers and administrators play a crucial role in ensuring that decision-makers are able to make accurate decisions based on current health information data. Fanshawe is a proud partner of the Canadian College of Health Information Management. Enhance your career with this specialization in health administration systems and health information management in this one-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate program. You’ll learn about global advancements in the use of technology in electronic patient records, automated voice transcription, digital imaging concepts, ADT (admission-discharge-transfer) systems messaging and workflow. You’ll also develop valuable skills in data analysis and the creation of dashboards.

Entry requirements for Fanshawe College
A Two- or Three-Year College Diploma, or a Degree, preferably in Information Technology, Mathematics, Writing, or Health Sciences. Other backgrounds considered on a case-by-case basis. or Acceptable combination of related work experience and post-secondary education as judged by the College to be equivalent to the above. TOEFL: 570 paper-based test, 88 internet-based test, IELTS Academic: Overall score of 6.5 with no score less than 6.0 in any of the four bands.
