About the course
The Business program provides a broad education encompassing all functional areas of business, including business accounting, finance, marketing, sales, operations and human resources management. Today’s world is full of business opportunities, graduates of this program will have work-ready skills that will enable them to operate in multiple business departments, return to their family business or start their own business venture. They will also be able to bridge into the third year of the Business Administration – Management program, complete an 8-month post-graduate certificate, or bridge into the second year of the BBA – International Business Management degree program (subject to a 70% program average). You can start the Business program in the fall, winter or spring, at multiple campuses, and choose the delivery format that best suits your circumstances and lifestyle - full-time during the day, part-time in the evening, or online, and complete it in as little as 16 months (full-time or online). Applicants holding the McDonald's Management Development Program designation may apply for credit toward this program.

Graduates are prepared for careers in business administration, sales and customer service, account and customer relationship management, and entrepreneurship and family enterprise. The small business emphasis will prepare students who plan to return to a family business and assist potential entrepreneurs evaluate business opportunities. Graduates who wish to continue their education can apply to a range of graduate certificate programs.
