About the course
The Community Integration Through Co-Operative Education is a program designed for students with with developmental disabilities, acquired brain injuries and other significant learning challenges. Learning Facilitators provide support and modifications to students in courses while focusing on the student’s strengths. Students will select one of five areas of interest to study and complete three field placements in their area of interest. Successful students will receive a Certificate in CICE upon graduation. Entry requirements for Fanshawe College
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or Ontario Secondary School Certificate (OSSC) where curriculum modification was required
OR
Academic and Career Entrance Certificate (ACE)
OR
Ontario High School Equivalency Certificate (GED)
OR
Mature Applicant with appropriate preparation
AND
Completion of an Advocate Reference Form, Resume and Independent Interview*
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) test with a minimum score of 79 for the Internet-based test (iBT), with test results within the last two years
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic test with an overall score of 6.0 with no score less than 5.5 in any of the four bands, with test results within the last two years.
