Entry requirements for University of Southampton
Honours Degree:
Our normal entry requirement is an upper second-class honours degree or higher (or equivalent) in a related discipline such as computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, maths/statistics.
We require a minimum 2:1 degree overall (or equivalent) in a related discipline and 2:1 in the required modules. Programming languages (Python, HTML, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, Hadoop, Spark, or related), machine learning, data mining, data analytics, Big Data, statistics and probability theory.
We normally ask for IELTS 6.5 overall with at least 6.0 in each competency.
