The M.S. in Physics prepares students for traditional physics research and advanced topics in physics. How to apply

Entry requirements for Eastern Michigan University

Applicants should have the equivalent of an undergraduate major in physics with a strong background in mathematics including multivariable calculus and differential equations. Students who do not meet these requirements may be granted conditional admission requiring additional undergraduate course work in physics and/or mathematics.A minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale, or 3.0 in the last half of the undergraduate program.TOEFL: 79 iBT. IELTS: 6.5.Applicants must have earned a four-year baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution, or an equivalent degree from a non-U.S. institution.
