About the course
Drexel?s Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) program is an interdisciplinary program that prepares students with both the domain knowledge and practical competencies to compete in the ever-changing technical landscape of information system business requirements, software design and management, data-oriented informatics and user experience design. The MSIS program is ideal for those who would like to specialize in software and systems development, data analytics and knowledge management, and/or human-centered computing. Our MSIS program is designed for students with no prior background in information systems who would like an education in the latest innovative methods in data analysis and information systems, or those with knowledge of information systems who wish to refresh and update their technical design and analysis skills. The MSIS degree aims to develop professionals who are able to understand, adapt and develop new software and Web systems. Graduates hold positions such as Computer Specialist, Principal Planner for Data Management, User Experience Designer, Manager of MIS Systems, Information Systems Manager and Senior Systems Analyst. How to apply
Entry requirements for Drexel University
Applicants may only apply to one program. All documents submitted by you or on your behalf in support of this application for admission to Drexel University become the property of the University, and will under no circumstances be released to you or any other party. Please note, an application fee of $65 U.S. is required.
Provide official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
TOEFL scores are required for international applicants or applicants who earned a degree outside the U.S. (minimum scores: 90/577/233). Scores will be reviewed based on section scores and total scores. IELTS scores may be submitted in lieu of TOEFL scores (minimum Overall Band Score: 6.5).
Two letters of recommendation are required.
Although requirements vary by program, regular admission typically requires a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (B) for undergraduate work
