Entry requirements for McGill University (Continuing Education)
Applicants to the M.Sc. programs must be graduates of a university of recognized reputation and hold a B.Sc. in Food Science or a related discipline such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Microbiology with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.0/4.0 (second class?upper division) and a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.2/4.0 during the last two years of full-time university study.
The GRE ? not required, but highly recommended.
An interview with the applicant may be requested by the Department of Food Science and Agricultural Chemistry in order to assist in the evaluation of the application.
IBT (Internet-Based Test): 86 overall, no less than 20 in each of the four component scores
PBT (Paper-Based Test): 567
IELTS (International English Language Testing System): a band score of 6.5 or greater (Academic module)
