How to apply

Entry requirements for California State University - San Marcos

Bachelor's Degree from an institution that meets our accreditation standards. GPA of 2.5. TOEFL IBT - 80. TOEFL PBT - 550. IELTS - 6.0, writing score no lower than 6.0 and no section score below 5.5.

　　Admission requires a 3.0 GPA in the upper-division Computer Science courses and at least a 2.5 GPA in the last 60 semester units (or last 90 quarter units) attempted.

　　Minimum GRE scores required:

　　Verbal 143

　　Quantitative 155

　　Analytical Writing 3.5 (or NEW: 3.0 with TOEFL Writing 20 or above / IELTS Writing 6.0 or above)

　　All official post-secondary records including certifcates, examination grades, degrees or diplomas in the original language of issue must be submitted through postal mail in a school-sealed envelope

　　Official English translations of all academic records including certificates, degrees, or diplomas must be submitted through postal mail

　　Affidavit of Financial Support or scholarship letter

　　Official TOEFL or IELTS score report - must be sent directly from testing agency
