About the course
This dual degree program is a partnership between NYU Stern and the Graduate School of Arts & Science (GSAS) at NYU. Students may complete both degrees over the course of three years, instead of the four years that it would take to complete each degree independently. The first year of the program is spent in the Biology department of the Graduate School of Arts & Science, completing the majority of credits required for the Biology degree. The second and third years are spent completing the MBA at Stern as well as the final credits of the Biology degree.
The MS in Biology/MBA dual degree takes three years to complete, as opposed to the four years that it would typically take to complete both degrees independently. Students spend the first year of the program in the Biology department of the Graduate School of Arts & Science, completing the bulk of the credits required for the MS degree. The second and third years are spent completing the MBA degree at NYU Stern as well as the final credits required for the Biology degree. Entry requirements for New York University
Applicants for admission to the M.S. program must have successfully completed an undergraduate major in a science or followed a pre-health curriculum (B average or better generally required) and must submit three letters of recommendation.You must receive your undergraduate degree (U.S. baccalaureate or equivalent) from an institution of recognized standing before enrollment in the Graduate School.For the TOEFL, the Graduate School recommends that the applicant achieve a minimum TOEFL score of 100 on the internet-based test. For the IELTS, a minimum overall band score of at least 7 is recommended.
