How to apply

Entry requirements for University of Canberra

The entry requirements of the course are: - a degree in information sciences (such as Bachelor of Business Informatics, Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Software Engineering) with an average grade of credit or better, or - a Master of Technology or equivalent with an average grade of credit or better and evidence of capacity for doing research at the Masters level. Usually, people who start a higher degree by research with us will have an Australian Bachelor's degree with Honours, or a Research Master's degree. Other acceptable qualifications include a postgraduate qualification of at least one year of full-time equivalent study with a significant research component, or relevant research experience. IELTS Academic: 6.5, TOEFL (iBT): 79.
