M.F.A. in Illustration Practice Written Requirements:
Applicants should submit a written statement that includes:
Discussion of your artwork that outlines your interest in graduate study.
How your abilities and experiences will translate into illustration practice, especially as it moves into the 21st century.
How do you see yourself fitting into the future of illustration? How will you use materials to extend your ideas?
A description of your ideal project, something that would utilize your talents as a visual communicator and engage your thinking about illustration practice in new ways.
Three (3) Letters of Reference.
Proof of Degree or Equivalent : Digital transcripts from the last degree-granting institution attended can be uploaded to SlideRoom. Official transcripts are not required for the initial review process, however, the Graduate Review Committee may request additional or official documentation before decision notification.
TOEFL: A minimum overall band score of 75 on the IBT Test of English Language as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required for full admission. IELTS: A minimum score of 6.0 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is required.
