The Master of Arts in Illustration is a 30-credit program. Its curriculum is paced to help you develop the vocabulary, and conceptual, observational, and handcrafting skill sets, tool sets, and mindsets needed to begin professional initiatives or pursue more specialized study. In the M.A. in Illustration program, you will work independently and collaborate with others, gain a global purview through historical study and exposure to diverse contemporary practitioners, and expand the scope of your professional practice through making skills and professional development. Proof of Degree or Equivalent - Digital transcripts from the last degree-granting institution can be uploaded to SlideRoom. Official transcripts are not required for the initial review process, however, the Graduate Review Committee may request additional or official documentation before decision notification.
M.A. in Illustration Portfolio Requirement - Applicants to the Illustration (M.A.) should submit 15-18 digital images or time-based media for review.
TOEFL: A minimum overall band score of 75 on the IBT Test of English Language as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required for full admission. IELTS: A minimum score of 6.0 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is required.
