About the course

This program is for students with a pre-professional undergraduate architecture degree, (typically a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Architecture) and sufficient coursework to fulfill the Path 2 prerequisites. 6 architectural design studios, five or six credits each, 3 architectural history or architectural theory courses, 1 or 2 courses addressing passive design or environmental systems, 1 or 2 structures courses, addressing statics, mechanics of materials, structural analysis, and the design and behavior of basic structural elements and systems and 1 course addressing construction materials and assembly / construction methods. 　　Official TOEFL scores that must meet the University of New Mexico minimum of 79 on the IB TOEFL, or 6.5 on the IELTS. Graduate TOEFL (paper-based) - 550.

　　Minimum of a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) on a U.S. 4.0 scale or comparable grade point average in upper-division (junior and senior level) university course work and in any graduate work already completed.
