About the course

The Master of Agriculture and Environment trains you to solve the challenges of the 21st century: food security, climate change, and management of carbon, water and the environment. With professional experience in the lab and in the field, you?ll be ready to contribute to a booming and vital sector.

  This degree is the perfect next step for graduates who have completed a degree in Science, Economics or have related work experience (accreditation subject to approval).

  The Master of Agriculture and Environment is a postgraduate coursework degree that will develop your skills in cross-disciplinary thinking and project management, and your knowledge in topics including food security, climate change and management of carbon, water and the environment.

  You will complete core units and a specialisation, along with a series of capstone research units. Certain units require undertaking compulsory fieldwork prior to the start of semester. How to apply

Entry requirements for The University of Sydney

A successful applicant for admission to the Master of Agriculture and Environment will:

  (a) bachelor’s degree with a credit average (65 percent) in agriculture, science, economics, or an equivalent qualification, or

  (b) have completed the requirements for the award of the Graduate Certificate in Agriculture and Environment from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification.

  IELTS score A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band

  Toefl Pbt A minimum result of 565 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in Writing

  Toefl ibt A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
