About the course
This course is designed to introduce students to the study of accounting. The course consists of eight subjects and is designed to allow students to choose subjects to best meet their individual needs. The course acts as an entry and exit point for the Master of Professional Accounting (Professional Practice), and is designed to build upon previous work experience or non-accounting undergraduate studies to provide graduates with relevant technical and theoretical knowledge of accounting and related disciplines. How to apply
Entry requirements for Charles Sturt University
Master of Professional Accounting Applicants are required to have an undergraduate degree from a recognised Australian tertiary institution (or equivalent). The undergraduate degree must be in a field other than Accounting, or not recognised by the Australian Accounting professional bodies for associate membership. Applicants without a tertiary qualification may be admitted to the Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting or Graduate Diploma of Accounting on the basis of professional attainment and/or work experience. Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate of Professional Accounting/Graduate Diploma of Accounting, students will then be eligible for admission to the Master of Professional Accounting and receive credit for applicable subjects.
A TOEFL paper-based score of 550 .
A TOEFL Internet-based score of 60 Listening - 12, Speaking - 18,Reading - 13, Writing - 21.
IELTS - overall score of at least 6.0, with no score below 6.0.
