The URI Graduate Certificate in Community Planning provides advanced instruction and training in community planning and development to address contemporary planning challenges at different geographical levels in the United States. The certificate focuses on the knowledge of the principles and practices of community planning and development, specifically in areas of land use and environmental planning as well as urban design. How to apply
Entry requirements for University of Rhode Island
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University is required. International students are required to have an overall TOEFL score of 80 or more AND meet the minimum in each individual area: Reading 20, Writing 22, Listening 17, Speaking 17. The minimum score on the Paper-based TOEFL is 550. IELTS: Required minimum score of 6.5. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better in the undergraduate career that can be confirmed with official transcripts from the institution (some programs may require a higher or lower GPA).
