Have you considered studying in New Zealand as an international student but need to improve your English language skills first Our English for Academic Purposes (EAP) programme is designed to help you excel in your chosen field. Learn to communicate with confidence and improve essential study skills in an English-speaking academic environment.

　　MUC offers a flexible teaching structure that is tailored to you depending on your future study choices. This programme is for you, if You are preparing to enter university directly, and already have a higher level of English, you will complete English for Academic Purposes 2 (EAP2). You need to gain extra language confidence, you are able to take EAP1 followed by EAP2, before transitioning to university.

　　The EAP syllabus and programme dates have been carefully designed to allow students a smooth transition from English to tertiary studies.
