About the course

This programme, offered at the University of Waikato College, aims to provide international students whose first language is not English, with a programme which will develop their proficiency in the four key skill areas of reading, writing, listening and speaking.

　　The Certificate of Attainment in English Language (CAEL) is offered at the University of Waikato College, has three levels, from Elementary to Pre-Intermediate. You can enter into the course at a level dependent on your current English level. Classes focus on reading, writing, listening and speaking English in a variety of formal and informal contexts in preparation for the higher levels.
