About the course
Accounting disclosures and financial reports are vital to business analysis and decision-making. They equip managers, owners and investors with highly valuable information to use in monitoring the effectiveness of a firm or organisation. This joint degree programme will enable you to develop a broad understanding of the theory and practice of both disciplines, and will prepare you to apply your knowledge and skills to the workplace. You will gain a sound understanding of accounting methods and financial management techniques designed to assess and improve company-level financial performance. Optional modules will cover a broad range of business and management subjects, including corporate governance, entrepreneurship, supply chains and business law. This degree will challenge and inspire you, and provide you with an essential foundation for a future career in accounting, finance, banking or general management.
At the end of your degree, you will be well-equipped for graduate careers in accounting, banking, finance, insurance and business management, in both private and public sectors. Graduates of this course have been accepted onto competetive graduate schemes with HSBC, PwC and Mazars. You will also have a strong foundation to pursue further professional accounting qualifications, if desired. Scholarships - View all scholarships Internships
