The visual computing and games major studies how to use computers to both mimic human visual processing power for things such as object recognition, and to create visual content, like games and movies. Computer games also offer a great opportunity for computer scientists to learn and apply fundamental concepts of design and creation of interactive experiences and visual content. How to apply
Entry requirements for Memorial University of Newfoundland
Minimum score of 24 on the IB Diploma with completion of the required subject areas or completion of another recognized High School diploma program.
Interim High School transcript or predicted IB grades. Documents can be official or unofficial.
Final official high school transcript sent by post or courier directly from the school to the Office of the Registrar or final IB results sent electronically directly from the IB Organization.
TOEFL - A minimum score of 550 on the paper-based test, a minimum overall score of 79 on the internet-based test with at least 20 in each of reading and writing, and no less than 17 in listening and speaking. IELTS - A minimum overall band score of 6.5, with at least band 6 in each of writing and reading.
