Do hands-on research in a lab stocked with equipment you?d typically find at a much larger university. Explore the physical and chemical systems that surround us.

　　Come to USF and gain skills necessary for graduate school and careers in a variety of industries. Come participate in research projects led by full-time faculty members. Understand that social consciousness and ethical behavior are critical to the chemistry community.

　　The Department of Chemistry offers a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with three different tracks: Biochemistry, Medicinal/Synthetic, and Standard Chemistry. All three tracks provide excellent preparation for those seeking admission to medical, dental, pharmacy, or other professional schools. Students pursuing any of these tracks can elect to obtain American Chemical Society (ACS) certification by fulfilling the additional requirements. How to apply

Entry requirements for University of San Francisco

High School Transcript: Showing grades from 9th through 11th grade.

　　Fall Senior Grades: Required of any Early Decision or Early Action applicant who is deferred. Highly recommended for students applying Regular Decision.

　　Early Decision Agreement: Required only for Early Decision applicants. You must invite your parent and counselor to affirm the Early Decision Agreement.

　　Academic Recommendation: One recommendation from your school counselor or a teacher in a core academic subject.

　　(Optional) SAT or ACT scores: Beginning with students who apply for fall 2020 admission, USF will no longer require students to submit standardized test scores when applying for undergraduate admission.

　　Eligibility for undergraduate admission requires a TOEFL iBT (Internet-based Test) score of at least 65, a IELTS Overall Band score of at least 6.0, or a PTE Academic score of at least 46
