About the course

Marketing revolves around the product or service of the business, promotion of the product, price at which it is sold, and how it is distributed to the customer. Professionals in marketing create and communicate marketing strategies, develop marketing campaigns, and work with sales teams to sell products. The Marketing major offers two tracks for students to specialize in based upon their career goals. The Professional Selling Track in Marketing prepares students for careers in professional, business-to-business selling. How to apply

Entry requirements for Youngstown State University

Applicants must have graduated from high school or have successfully completed the General Education Development (GED) test to be considered for admission. Freshman applicants applying for admission to Youngstown State University must submit a high school transcript and American College Test (ACT) or Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) scores. Applicants must have a cumulative high school grade point average (weighted, if applicable) of 2.00 or higher on a 4.00 point scale with a minimum recalculated unweighted core GPA of 2.00 or higher and an ACT composite score of 17 or higher, or a combined SAT score of 920 or higher from the evidence-base writing and reading test, and the math test, to be admitted unconditionally.
