Whether you’re hoping to spend your career playing the guitar or sharing your expertise with others, we have a program that will help you achieve your goals. We offer academic programs at every level, from bachelor’s to doctoral. No matter what degree you choose to pursue, you’ll study with faculty dedicated to helping you achieve your personal best, learn with a small group of peers who share your passion in your studio, and perform on the stages of some of the best facilities available at the college level. As a student in the Jacobs guitar department, you’ll be mentored by top musicians committed to nurturing you and helping you to grow and learn in a healthy atmosphere. How to apply

Entry requirements for Indiana University - Bloomington

You must earn a diploma from an accredited high school (or must have completed the Indiana High School Equivalency Diploma) to be eligible for admission consideration. Students who are homeschooled or attend an alternative school should submit credentials that demonstrate equivalent levels of achievement and ability. Incoming freshmen must submit complete final secondary school transcripts.SAT scores for admitted freshmen is typically 1180–1380, range of ACT scores is typically 25–32.
