About the course

Whether you hope to spend your life performing as a soloist, playing as part of an orchestra, or joining academia, you’ll find the right woodwind program for you here. All of our woodwind programs are taught by world-renowned faculty in an environment where you’re encouraged to stretch yourself and reach for your personal best—every day. As a woodwind student at the Jacobs School of Music, you’ll have a part to play in some of the 1,100 performances we present each year. You’ll have opportunities to perform in solo, chamber music, and large ensemble settings. Some of your choices include six orchestras, two symphonic bands, a baroque and classical orchestra, a new music ensemble, and a full chamber music program. How to apply

Entry requirements for Indiana University - Bloomington

You must earn a diploma from an accredited high school (or must have completed the Indiana High School Equivalency Diploma) to be eligible for admission consideration. Students who are homeschooled or attend an alternative school should submit credentials that demonstrate equivalent levels of achievement and ability.
