  Professional practice in the human services is complex, challenging and very rewarding because it's about making a real difference in people's lives and building a better world.

  You will build on the key concepts developed in the Bachelor of Human Services - learning and socialisation, individual behaviour, human interaction, life stage development, as well as normative and deviant behaviour in culturally specific and multicultural contexts. Students will learn to conduct and disseminate research based on the principles of the behavioural sciences and documenting human behaviour.

How to apply

Entry requirements for The University of Queensland

A Bachelor of Human Services from UQ with a GPA of 5 in Part A compulsory courses.

  Or an approved degree and satisfy the Executive Dean that the applicant is suitably qualified to undertake honours, who may be subject to the completion of additional work if set by the Executive Dean.

  English language proficiency:

  IELTS: Overall Band Score of 6.5 AND a minimum score of 6 in each sub-band of Writing, Reading, Speaking and Listening.

  TOEFL (Internet-Based-iBT): Overall score 87 with a Writing score of 21 and Reading, Speaking and Listening scores of 19

  TOEFL (Paper-based): Overall score of 570 and a minimum score of 5.0 in the Test of Written English (TWE) and 54 in Listening and Reading
