Entry requirements for Manukau Institute of Technology

Applicant s must meet the following entry requirements Academic entry requirement Successfully completed at least 42 NCEA (or equivalent) credits at Level 3 or higher, made up of 14 credits in one approved subject 14 credits in another approved subject 14 credits from one or two additional domains or approved subjects AND 8 credits in NCEA English Level 2 (four in reading and four in writing from the NZQA Literacy Requirements for University Entrance list) (or equivalent) AND 14 credits ln NCEA Mathematics (or Pangarau) Level1 (or equivalent) OR Successfully completed a minimum of 72 credits at NCEA (or equivalent) Level 2 including a minimum of 14 credits in each of four subjects and a minimum of 30 credits at Merit or Excellence. IELTS (Academic) 6.0, no one score below 5.5: TOEFL 550 (213), TWE 4.0. MIT ELP 6.0. International Baccalaureate 24+
