The course offers two majors, Crop Science and Plant Health and Sustainable Agriculture. This major includes the study of chemistry, spatial sciences, ecology, microbiology, farm business economics, pasture science, soil science and the animal sciences. How to apply
Entry requirements for University of Tasmania (UTAS)
Prospective Honours students must gain a minimum 65% credit average in Year 3 of the BAgrSc course. Eligible students will be notified of their acceptance following publication of Year-3 results.
Admission to undergraduate courses at the University of Tasmania requires the completion of qualifications equivalent to the 12th year in Australia.
International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma - Overall score of 24
IELTS (Academic) - 6.0 (no individual band less than 5.5)
TOEFL (iBT) - 72 (no skill below: Reading 10, Listening 9, Speaking 16, Writing 19)
