About the course
BA (Hons) Photography at London College of Communication is an innovative course that will encourage you to develop your own distinctive approach to the photographic. BA (Hons) Photography is an ideas-driven, multi-genre photography course which combines practice, theory, professionalism and technical expertise. You’ll graduate as a critically engaged creative who is conceptually driven and professionally focused.
BA (Hons) Photography is offered in full-time mode. It is divided into 3 stages over 3 academic years. Each stage consists of 31 teaching weeks. You will be expected to commit an average of 40 hours per week to your course, including teaching hours and independent study.

How to apply
Entry requirements for University of the Arts
All Official Transcripts. IELTS - 6.0. (Minimum 5.5 All Sections). TOEFL IBT - 80 (Listening 17, Reading 18, Writing 17, Speaking 20). The course attracts students who apply direct from A-level (or equivalent) or from Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, or other art or design courses, as well as mature students who may have previously worked in the industry. 80 UCAS tariff points gained at GCE Advanced (A) Level or equivalent. (A-level subjects studied may include: Photography, English, History, Media, Business, Art and Design, or other subjects within Social Sciences). One subject at A-level achieved at grade C or above PLUS Foundation Diploma in Art & Design (Level 3/4). BTEC Extended Diploma. UAL Extended Diploma in Art and Design. Access to HE Diploma. International Baccalaureate Diploma. Equivalent EU or Non-EU qualifications. Additionally, you will have achieved passes at grade C/grade 4 or above in at least five GCSE subjects.
