  Each year the College sees hundreds of students from its Foundation Studies Programs, Degree Transfer Programs and Pre-master's Programs progress to their chosen undergraduate or postgraduate degree at the University of Adelaide. Following the completion of their College program, students at the College enjoy guaranteed entry and a streamlined application process to the parent university.

  International students who choose to study at the College are provided with a strong academic program presented by experienced and highly qualified teachers, alongside small class sizes to ensure students can receive the individual support and guidance they need. Foundation Studies Program

The Foundation Studies Program is the perfect pathway to a student's dream undergraduate degree at the University of Adelaide. The program has been designed with the University specifically for international students who have completed the equivalent of Australian Year 11. Foundation studies will prepare students for entry into first year of their packaged bachelor's degree.

  

Degree Transfer Program

The Degree Transfer Program is an excellent alternative to first year at University, offering guaranteed entry to the second year on successful completion. Students study the same courses as first year university students, and upon graduation, they will secure a place in the second year of their packaged bachelor's degree.

  

Pre-Master's Program

The College is the first in Australia to provide postgraduate pathway study options to a Group of Eight university. Students who complete the Pre-Master's Program successfully will be guaranteed admission into a postgraduate degree at the University of Adelaide. Pre-Master's Program

This is taught over the course of two semesters. In the first bridging semester, students develop their English academic language skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking and their research and study skills.

  Students are required to study five courses in their bridging semester and four related to their chosen master's degree in their pre-master's semester to progress to the University of Adelaide during the second semester.

  

Facilities

The College campus is a recently refurbished campus in the heart of the city.

  The College students enjoy access to the campus facilities of the University of Adelaide and have a dedicated building for the University of Adelaide College that is a short walk from the university.

  The College campus is a spacious, modern building comprising relaxation areas, a student lounge, a resource centre, classrooms, four computer suites, private study rooms, meeting rooms, and a student kitchen.

  The students have exclusive access to the student common room that has a piano, plasma TV, vending machine, student kitchen, and couches. It creates a friendly atmosphere for students to study, meet and organise social gatherings in. Its reception area is a space that helps students get easy assistance.

  They also enjoy accessing the University's AUD 42 million learning hub based in the heart of the University of Adelaide's North Terrace campus.

  

Entry requirements

International students looking to study at the University of Adelaide College must meet the admissions standards that have been set by its academic board. Undergraduate and postgraduate country specific entry requirements are listed on the website.

  Academic assessment is generally done based on student grades in individual subjects, and their overall aggregate grade.
