Griffith College is students best on-campus study option to achieve academic credit into hundreds of Griffith University degree majors, including 8-12 month Diploma’s which will transition students straight into their 2nd year of a range of University Bachelor degrees.
All programs at Griffith College are delivered in face-to-face mode, on campus, within the College’s two purpose-built buildings. As a University partner, the college share campus services such as the library, computer labs, outlets, fitness and clubs, as well as specialist facilities such as simulated nursing wards, science laboratories, art studios, and a range of support services.
All Griffith College lecturers and tutors are available for face-to-face student consultation on campus for approximately one hour per week per class. If, while undertaking studies at the College, students experience difficulties with a particular course, they are strongly encouraged to meet with their lecturer/tutor in the first instance during their consultation time. The college have academic advisors available throughout the trimester to help students with assignment drafts, research assistance, essay structuring and, writing and referencing assistance.
Teaching and learning is constantly evolving, and Griffith College is keeping pace by introducing a number of innovative resources in the classroom. Online learning management, video lecture capture and online textbooks are all available. The College has also integrated new learning techniques, such as flipped and blended learning, to help deliver content in a way that is engaging and develops collaboration and communication skills.
Located within the Griffith University Southport (Gold Coast) and Mt Gravatt (Brisbane) Campuses, Griffith College is embedded within the Griffith University community and offers students a great opportunity for entry to higher degree programs, with extra support and services available for each student to succeed.
