About the course

Pharmacists select, compound, preserve, and dispense the drugs prescribed by physicians, dentists, and other practitioners. Patient counselling is also a major component of the pharmacist's work. The University of Winnipeg is an excellent place to fulfill the entrance requirements for pharmacy at the University of Manitoba or other universities across Canada. ? Each faculty of pharmacy has its own entrance requirements. To meet the entrance requirements for Pharmacy at the University of Manitoba, you will complete 60 credit hours with no grade less than a C or two years of studies, including the ?Pre-Professional Requirements? listed below. ? Make sure you complete at least two regular sessions (September ? April) where each session contains a minimum of 24 new credits of university level degree-credit courses to show you can withstand the rigours and discipline needed for this program. ?
