About the course

This programme is for those who want to extend their knowledge in sport and exercise science, and is designed to build on an undergraduate degree or equivalent industry experience with further specialist knowledge. Our postgraduate sports programmes focus on applied learning, are strongly industry-focused, and supported by a team of highly-skilled academic staff. Students will get to apply their learning in our purpose-built facilities. Graduates may be employed in specialised roles in sport science research, the fitness industry, individual and team sport training and consultancy and regional and national sporting organisation positions. Entry requirements for Waikato Institute of Technology

IELTS - 6.5. TOEFL IBT - 79. TOEFL PBT - 590. Bachelor Degree is required. An undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Science with a grades average of B or better in the final year of full-time study (or equivalent in part-time study), conferred by a New Zealand tertiary education institution, or
