How to apply

Entry requirements for Massey University

To enter the Postgraduate Diploma in Construction you will have been awarded or qualified for:

  the Bachelor of Construction degree, or equivalent, or

  a relevant Bachelor’s degree followed by a relevant Postgraduate Certificate or an equivalent qualification.

  You will need to provide copies of all official academic transcripts for studies taken at all universities other than Massey University.

  We offer short English language courses, such as the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course, IELTS tests and preparation courses and Occupational English Tests. To study at Massey as an international student, you will need to meet certain entry requirements. These include English language skills and a qualification from high school, or other university. We recognise these English language examinations International English Language Testing System (IELTS) – academic scores only, Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), Cambridge English Qualifications, NZCEL, Pearson Test of English (Academic), Language Cert. Your test results (scores) are valid for two years from the date on which you took the test. If you have taken a test other than the English language examinations listed above, include it with your Application for Admission as an International Student. It might be considered.

  Academic IELTS - 6.5 overall and minimum 6.0 in each band, TOEFL IBT – Overall score 90, minimum 20 in writing, TOEFL Paper Based 160.
