About the course

Applications are invited for this intensive one year full time conversion programme for non-accounting graduates wishing to pursue a career as professional accountants. Holders of the award receive significant examination exemptions from the main professional accountancy bodies operating in Ireland and will be well prepared for the latter stages of their programmes. Graduates of the Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting get a full exemption from CA Proficiency 1 (CAP1) examinations of Chartered Accountants Ireland subject to performance in specific modules in the course. Graduates also get exemptions from modules F1 to F9 inclusive of the ACCA syllabus, the maximum exemptions allowable, subject to performance in specific modules in the course. How to apply

Entry requirements for TU Dublin

Applicants should hold an honours bachelor degree (minimum of 2.2 honours or better) in a discipline other than accounting. Due to competition for places on the programme, firm offers will be made to candidates on an 2.1 or higher and offers will be made to 2.2 graduates should there be places available.
