The PGCertMaterialsEng is aimed at those who aspire to a career in materials processing and production, manufacturing, new materials deployment and development disciplines either in a technical or management role. It is best suited to those looking to upskill quickly within their field. The PGCertMaterialsEng develops knowledge, skills and competencies that are used in the materials, manufacturing and energy industries. Materials can no longer be just efficient or economic. Today?s world needs materials that work toward the greater goal of clean energy, respect for the environment and native practices, and a low-carbon economy. New Zealand is calling out for specialists who can inspire that change with innovative engineering technology, and professionals with the commercial expertise to bring those technologies to the world.
