About the course
Social media marketing strategists and online community managers are key players behind companies and brands across Canada, developing content, engaging customers, and creating positive experiences and interactions via social media. This Ontario College Graduate Certificate program prepares students to become social media marketing leaders and strategists in this dynamic and fast-paced field, developing and executing integrated social media marketing plans. Students have the opportunity to set up and maintain a multi-platform social media presence, while gaining hands-on experience in content creation, community management, social engagement, reputation management, and crisis prevention. At the end of this program, students will be job-ready for an exciting career in social media marketing. Job opportunities may include both freelancing and/or full-time positions. Job titles may include Social Media Marketer, Social Media Manager, Influencer, Marketing Coordinator, Content Specialist, Content Generator, Community Manager, and Social Media Strategist.
