This program is an effective option for students graduating from programs with limited or no hands-on instruction in precision machining and machine programming.
The Advanced Manufacturing two-semester graduate certificate program is designed to produce graduates with expertise in advanced manufacturing. Graduates can program, set up and use advanced manufacturing equipment and practice advanced precision machining skills. Students can fabricate and build a progressive stamping die-set using conventional tools and metal-cutting equipment with advanced manufacturing equipment of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) metal-cutting machines.
