About the course

As an electromechanical engineering technologist, you’ll have a deeper understanding of automation and robotics than graduates of our two-year Electromechanical Engineering Technician program. Enhance your knowledge with courses in programmable logic controllers, robotic programming and applications, electropneumatics, fluid power, HVAC, computer integrated manufacturing, 3D modelling and more.

　　Prove yourself to employers before you even graduate In your final semester, you’ll work with fellow engineering students on a capstone project that provides solutions for our industry partners. You can also apply for a paid co-op work placement that provides one year of real-world experience. Some of our students have been hired as a direct result of their capstone or co-op participation.

How to apply

Entry requirements for Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning

Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, including these required courses:

　　One English, Grade 12 (ENG4C or ENG4U)

　　plus

　　Grade 12 Mathematics for College Technology (MCT4C) or Grade 11 Functions (MCF3M) or Grade 11 Functions and Relations (MCR3U) or any Grade 12 (U) mathematics
