Learn how to provide quality mental health and addiction services to individuals in need, as well as help peoples’ family. Work independently as practitioners, or under the supervision of professional or qualified clinicians. Set yourself up for a career in this growth industry. Over 40 weeks, you will apply the transferable skills and knowledge gained to provide high quality mental health and addiction services to those in need and help to support their whänau through the delivery of services as a support worker in areas such as community-based support services, iwi health providers, mental health support, social services, youth work and consumer advocacy.
