Out in the field, you'll develop surveying skills in remote areas while gaining real life hands-on experience. Plus, you'll explore conservation issues and examine strategies to protect the environment.
Environmental sustainability is also a focus. The knowledge gained from the course will help you to create sustainable practices within New Zealand.
This course is designed as an entry to the Level 6 diploma, where you'll gain more advanced skills and knowledge. It includes a focus on research design and environmental and ecological reporting.
