About the course
Our Theoretical Physics MSc is an intensive, research-led course in which you will examine foundational topics in theoretical and mathematical physics such as general relativity and quantum field theory, before exploring advanced topics such as string theory, supersymmetry and the AdS/CFT correspondence. How to apply
Entry requirements for King's College London
All transcripts of your previous qualifications. Two academic references. Bachelors degree with 2:1 honours (or international equivalent) in Maths. Alternatively, a 2:1 in a degree subject related to Maths will be considered on a case by case basis. IELTS (Academic) - 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in each skill. TOEFL iBT - 892 overall with a minimum of 23 in writing and 20 in each of the other skills. TOEFL pBT - 160.
